How much control does a franchisee have?
Each franchisee owns his or her business, therefore has complete control over the franchise. However, it goes without saying that certain protocols must be standardised across all franchises in order to maintain the consistency and trustworthiness of the Spice 2 Go brand.
How much does it cost?
Franchisee set-up costs will vary with a personal investment of 30%-40% of the set-up cost. This will cover:
- Property negotiation.
- Store design & fit.
- Software & hardware.
- Staff Training.
- Opening Stock.
- Social media setup (business facebook page etc).
How much is the royalty fee?
After the store is established, Spice 2 Go will charge a royalty fee of 6% to the franchisee. The royalty fee is calculated on a percentage of the store’s monthly turnover. This payment allows the franchisee to use the Spice 2 Go concept as their business model and also benefit from all marketing and PR campaigns carried out by the franchisor. A national branding fee of 3% will also be payable.
I already own other franchises, can I still purchase a Spice 2 Go franchise?
Yes, there are no limitations on purchasing a Spice 2 Go franchise, even if you own stakes in other chains. However, you will need to read your current franchise agreement to understand any restrictions if any.
How long will the set up process take?
The set up process from start to finish will take approximately three months.
